Chondrus Crispus (carrageenan) Extract
This time we want to tell you more about one of the natural riches provided by the sea, the Chondrus Crisspus, also known as Irish moss, carrageen moss or pearl moss, which is a red algae cultivated for the production of carrageenan.
Chondrus Crisspus extract is another star ingredient of Anakena cosmetics, as it provides the skin with important nutrients thanks to its high content of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Its high carrageenan content reduces water loss and contributes to the skin's natural moisture retention, leaving it soft, firm and radiant.
The chorndrus crispus extract used by Anakena is certified organic by ECOCERT.
It is found in the following products: hand cream, mild soap, shampoo and nourishing balm.
