The charming Kahu Nehe Nehe Shop is one of our official points of sale in Rapa Nui and offers a careful selection of typical souvenirs, handicrafts, mugs, t-shirts, shell necklaces, bags with island designs and many other items with authentic Rapa Nui spirit. The name means "beautiful clothes" in the Rapa Nui language, but you will not only find clothing, but also a wide range of products inspired by the local culture. Located in the heart of Hanga Roa, on the main street Atamu Tekena, right next to the Hitu Supermarket, it is an easily accessible place for locals and visitors alike.
The store, managed by husband and wife team Fabian Ibacache Vega and Mahatu Manutomatoma Araki, opened its doors about six months ago and has since become a highly valued space for its authenticity and warmth.
The place is kindly attended by its owners and family members, which gives it a close and personal touch that visitors appreciate very much.
On a specially dedicated shelf, you will find our Anakena - Natural Cosmetics products carefully presented. In addition, they have testers so you can comfortably try each product and discover their textures and fragrances.
The moai figures made with recycled microplastic also attract attention, an initiative that highlights the commitment to environmental care in Rapa Nui.
