The seals, designations of origin, and certifications featured on this page have different scopes and attest to specific aspects of our company and our products, such as our connection to Chile, the protected origin of authentic Monoï de Tahiti, and the legitimacy of our operations in Rapa Nui. CHILE BRAND

Marca Chile is the country brand that helps promote Chile's identity, origin, and attributes internationally. Through the official program Made by Chileans, Chilean companies and products may be authorized to use this emblem as a symbol of their connection to the country.

Rapa Nui Natural Products E.I.R.L., the company that owns the Anakena® registered trademark, has been authorized to use the Marca Chile seal for several years. This authorization covers both the products of Anakena - Natural Cosmetics such as those from Anakena – Home Fragrance. Therefore, products from both lines may display the Marca Chile seal on their containers and packaging, in accordance with the authorized terms of use.

For Anakena, being part of Marca Chile means representing Chile and, especially, Rapa Nui to the world. We embrace this distinction as a commitment to responsibly showcasing the origins, identity, and values that inspire our brand.

MONOÏ DE TAHITI - APPELLATION D'ORIGINE

Monoï de Tahiti is the first cosmetic product in the world to receive an Appellation d'Origine. The Appellation d'Origine label was established by the French Decree of April 1, 1992, which precisely defines the production standards, the authorized ingredients and the geographical area of elaboration - exclusively French Polynesia.

This seal guarantees that Monoï has been produced in Tahiti by macerating Tiare Tahiti flowers (Gardenia tahitensis) of Polynesian origin in refined coconut oil (coprah), following traditional local processes under permanent control. It confirms the authentic origin of its ingredients, the quality of its manufacture and the traceability of the entire production process. You can consult the original decree here.

Both Monoï oils from the Anakena line — Tahiti Monoï Tiare and Tahiti Monoï Ra’a Pura-Pura - have this seal, which you will find on the label on the back of each bottle. This is not a seal exclusive to Anakena, but an internationally recognized appellation of origin that applies to all Monoï produced in French Polynesia under these strict conditions.
