Phytokeratin, the Anakena balm revolution

Keratin is a protein generated by our body that is responsible for protecting hair and nails from wear and tear and damage caused by external agents such as dyes, pollution, chlorine, exposure to UV rays from the sun, etc.

Our hair is made up of keratin fibrils, therefore keratin is a fundamental component of the hair structure, which determines its appearance and texture.

However, hair strength and firmness can be compromised by environmental factors such as sun rays, air pollutants, excessive blow-drying or straightening, as well as stress, which can affect the keratin structure of our hair, resulting in dry, weak and dull hair.

Now ANAKENA puts the solution to this problem in your hands!

Phytokeratin is one of the important natural ingredients of Anakena conditioning balm. It has a high effectiveness in hair care. Its INCI name - placed on the label of our balm - is: Hydrolized Corn Protein & Hrydrolized Wheat Protein & Hydrolized Soy Protein.wheat

Phytokeratin or Vegetable Keratin is an innovative formula and a vegetable alternative to animal proteins. It is a natural protein obtained from vegetable proteins, especially from corn, wheat and soy. It is made up of 18 amino acids and is a replica of the hair's natural keratin, making it perfect for reconstructing and regenerating hair.

Highly insoluble and with a very low molecular weight, vegetable keratin penetrates deep into the hair fiber creating a protective barrier, thus making up for the lack of natural keratin. The hair is thus hydrated from the inside, recovering its shine and resistance.

Benefits for your hair with regular use of Anakena Nourishing Balm:

● Improves hair hydration
● Repairs damaged hair
● Provides more shine and energy to the hair
● Increases levels of naturally occurring free amino acids, providing hair with abundant moisture and nutrients
● Facilitates combing and therefore reduces damage that can be caused by excessive brushing.
