A decade ago, Rapa Nui Natural Productsour Chilean company, gave life to Anakena - Natural Cosmetics at Rapa Nui (Easter Island). For more than six years, we have operated a store in Hanga Roa with the same name, where we fuse the unique flora of the island with artisanal creativity, offering unique products such as exotic jams, chocolates in the shape of moai and gourmet salts with herbs from our organic garden.
Natural cosmetics became our passion. We started with handmade soapsThe Rapa Nui's richness: aromatic herbs, exuberant flowers and seaweed. Our workshop was filled with innovative creationsBath salts, solid perfumes and massage oils that captured the essence of the island.
Driven by the enthusiasm of islanders and visitors, we transformed Anakena from an artisanal project into a recognized natural cosmetics brand. Today, our brand can be found in points of sale from Arica to Puerto Natalesas well as in souvenir stores in Rapa Nui.
In 2018, we founded Anakena GmbH & Co. KG in Munich, Germany, thus marking our entry into the European market with our brand name Anakena® - Natural Cosmetics. We produce in specialized laboratories in Germany and France, with the natural cosmetics certification of ECOCERT COSMOS NATURAL.
This year, Anakena celebrates its 10th anniversary in Chile. A decade after its creation, Anakena is more than just a beauty brand; it is a sensory journey to Rapa Nui, a commitment to nature, and a celebration of pure beauty. Each product tells our story and evokes “mana,” the special spiritual energy of Polynesian culture that permeates this unique island.
