Anakena's Mono\u00ef Tahiti Oil is produced entirely in Tahiti, under the strict rules of its label. Appellation d'Origine<\/span><\/a> which is a guarantee of the quality of its ingredients and its manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n

April 2022 is a month of celebration for Tahiti and the whole of Polynesia, because it will be 30 years since Tahiti Mono\u00ef Oil was recognized with the Denomination of Origin seal, making it the first cosmetic product to have this distinction.<\/p>\n

Obtaining this seal was a great achievement and is a source of pride for all those involved in the production of this wonderful oil, from the cultivation of the Tiare flower, the obtaining of the coprah oil (from dehydrated coconut pulp) and the maceration process to the final packaging.<\/p>\n

Mono\u00ef oil is a true source of pride for French Polynesia and one of its main economic pillars, along with black pearls, vanilla and its incredible tourist attractions.<\/p>\n

The particular climatic characteristics of Polynesia allow Tiare, one of the fundamental ingredients of Mono\u00ef, which is currently distributed in more than 100 countries around the world, to grow only there. Anakena is proud to be one of its distributors.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Appellation d'Origine Seal, several activities are taking place in Tahiti, including La Route du Mono\u00ef\u00ae, a unique invitation to learn more about the natural ingredients of Mono\u00ef Oil, its preparation and its multiple uses.
