Mono\u00ef de Tahiti is the result of a strictly controlled traditional process carried out exclusively in French Polynesia. Tiar\u00e9 flowers are harvested before dawn and immersed for 12 days in refined coconut oil (Coprah), with a minimum concentration of 12 flowers per liter, using a special method of enfleurage<\/em>. The process takes place at room temperature, without heating the oil. The flowers transfer their moisturizing and nourishing properties and their characteristic fragrance to the oil.
