The Driadas Store is one of the oldest retail locations for Anakena – Natural Cosmetics in southern Chile. Located in Castro, Chiloé, this store has been part of our history for many years. We share a very special bond with Francisca and Driadas, built on trust, closeness, and affection over time.
The project began more than a decade ago, when Francisca Rivera, together with her brother Sebastián, brought this space to life with a very clear vision: to create a store where people could feel at ease, comfortable, and in harmony. From the very beginning, Driadas was conceived as a place to enter calmly, let yourself be enveloped by the scents, textures, and colors, and discover products chosen with care.
Its name evokes the dryads, the forest nymphs of mythology—an image that resonates beautifully with the store’s natural spirit. That inspiration is evident in the store’s atmosphere: the wood, the warm lighting, the careful arrangement of the products, and the decorative details create a harmonious, intimate space with a highly recognizable visual identity.
At Driadas, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of handicrafts, jewelry, accessories, and wellness products, with a special focus on natural cosmetics made in Chile. For Francisca, the store aims to give its customers “a little bit of love” through every product they purchase—a phrase that perfectly captures the spirit of this project.
We are especially pleased that Anakena – Natural Cosmetics has been one of the brands with us since Driadas’s early years.
